Whether teaching Shakespeare in public schools, 

performing in plays by student writers, leading study abroad programs, or getting college students ready for the industry, Margaret's goal is always to help her students feel seen and heard.

Teaching Artist

Theatre For A New Audience

As a teaching artist in the World Theatre Project, Margaret develops curriculum that centers student voices, leading young people to create their own original works in dialogue with classic texts. She is a longtime resident artist of the New Voices Project, in which she directs other professional actors in staged readings of student plays.   

Epic Theatre Ensemble

Margaret has taught in every program that Epic offers, including the award-winning Shakespeare Remix after school program. With Epic, she focuses on mentoring young Black and Brown students through in-school residencies and after-school programs. 

Teaching Artist Training Institute (TATI),
Marquis Studios

Margaret is an alum of the TATI program, a six-week training in arts education best practices for individuals interested in working with students with disabilities. 

Collegiate Workshops

Professional Preparation

Margaret has led professional preparation workshops for emerging artists at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Point Park University, and the University of North Georgia.
